FROM THE HIGHLANDS OF ĐẮK LẮK

We're on a mission to find Vietnam's best coffee and bring it home to the UK, properly. Not from a spreadsheet in London — from the ground, in Vietnam.

We've shortlisted three suppliers, ordered samples from each, and we're about to blind taste-test them with UK expats here before we ever pick a winner. The supplier we choose gets a full farm and factory visit — meeting the actual people who grow it — before a single bag ships.

FAQ

What is Vietnamese coffee like?

Bolder and more full-bodied than most coffee you've tried — Vietnam is the world's second-largest coffee producer, right after Brazil, but most of what reaches the UK is instant or oversweetened, so the good stuff rarely gets a fair shot. Our blend is 70% Arabica, 30% Robusta: enough Robusta to give it real depth and backbone, without it overwhelming the cup.

When can I buy it?

We're sourcing directly from Vietnam's Central Highlands — home to some of the country's finest, most under-appreciated coffee. We've shortlisted three suppliers and are taste-testing all three on the ground before choosing a winner, and once we do, we're visiting their farm and factory ourselves to meet the people who actually grow it.

Where does it come from?

Traditionally, drop by drop through a small metal filter called a phin — no machine, no pods, just gravity and time. We'll have a full brew guide ready before launch, but if you want the short version: grounds in, press gently, hot water, wait. That's it.

How do I brew it?

Not yet — we're still in the taste-testing and supplier-selection stage, and we'd rather get this right than rush it. Join the list below and you'll be first to know the moment it's ready, plus you'll get to follow the whole process — taste test, farm visit and all — before anyone else sees
